We started the rodeo after Chris LeDoux passed away in 2005 and it was known as A Tribute to
Chris LeDoux PRCA Rodeo. A tribute to his abilities as an artist, musician, and rodeo
World Champion. A Tribute to Chris LeDoux was awarded the 2005 Small Indoor Rodeo of the
Year in the PRCA, out of 740 rodeos. At the request of the LeDoux family Chris’s name was
removed. Since 2011 the rodeo changed its name to A Tribute to the Great American Cowboy, now honoring all
Cowboys. Our rodeo has many World Champion cowboys and NFR qualifiers, entered every
year. We honor our Military Troops as well as First Responders. Due to the Covid Pandemic we sadly postponed our event from 2020-2022 but we are back and better than ever!
